Our Books

Established over twenty years ago, the Educational Bookshop maintained its leadership of the books market. It is a unique place, the must-visit bookshop in East Jerusalem and the Palestinian territories. Our book collection covers all aspects of Middle Eastern history and politics. We provide educational and cultural study material about Palestine and the Middle East, in several languages.

Locally, we stock every single book or study published by our local institutes, centres and NGOs, about social, economical, political issues and more.

The bookshop team works closely with over a hundred publishers and distributors around the world, exchanging information, services and business ideas on how to stay in tune with our customer's needs.

The management is also very keen on exchange visits, inviting publisher representatives and attending book fairs around the world. Educational Bookshop representatives are regular visitors to both the London and Frankfurt International Book fairs.

The Educational Bookshop is the place for authors and directors to organize public talks, autographing sessions, or film screenings to launch their new work.

The Educational Bookshop @ 22 Salah Eddin Street was once the "Palestinian Educational Bookshop" owned and ran by the late Edward Said's family.
