Our word: The administration of the Educational Bookshop represented by its promotion department would like to express its best wishes for its customers, and hopes for a prosperous year for the Jerusalemites and their guests, as well as to the rest of the Palestinian people and the world's population in general. We remember last year for its catastrophes on the global level from the Indian Ocean tsunami, assassination of Lebanon's former PM Harriri, the earthquakes the hit both Iran and Pakistan (Kashmir), the death of the pope (Johannes Paul II), the suicidal attacks and the oil storage blast in London, the several hurricanes that hit the USA coast especially New Orleans, the water floods in central Europe, the UN's warning of bird's influenza, the famine in Africa especially Nigeria and the violence and unrest that hit Paris and other places in France. Despite the very harsh situation that we find ourselves living in here in Jerusalem, we are grateful to god that we were not hit by any natural catastrophe and that we are still alive and healthy. At the same time we hope that the coming year will bring with it freedom, peace, love and better economic situation. Consequently We are delighted to introduce our Educational Bulletin. This bulletin will be an opened forum for our customers to place announcements and to exchange relevant information to make the stay of our guests and visitors more delightful and fruitful, and we encourage you to make use of it.

What is New? The educational bookshop is a very dynamic store despite the relatively small area that it disposes. Due to our concern and interest in the Palestinian culture we have introduced a good collection of Palestinian music and songs CDs.
Gift vouchers are now available at the store.
We are also delighted to inform our customers of our new color photocopy machine . With this machine one can photocopy in colors up to A3 paper size. It is fully digital and is connected to a PC machine. Probably the first such machine in East Jerusalem.

Fire risk batteries from Dell Dell, in cooperation with the U.S Consumer Product Safety Commission, is voluntarily recalling and offering free replacements for certain notebook batteries that were sold for use with some models of Dell Latitude TM , Dell Precision TM and Dell Inspiron TM notebook computers. It is possible for these batteries to overheat, which could pose a risk of fire.
